This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect information obtained through the Jobbit Platform, including data processed via the Jobbit AI Agent.

2.1 This Policy applies to all Users of the Platform and governs all data processing activities conducted by Jobbit, whether automated or manual.
2.2 By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy & Cookie Policy.
2.3 This Policy forms an integral part of the Jobbit Terms & Conditions (AI Agent Edition).
3.1 Jobbit Ltd acts as the Data Controller in respect of Personal Data collected directly from Users for account creation, communication, payments, and Platform analytics.
3.2 In certain circumstances, Jobbit may act as a Data Processor, for example when processing data under the direction of a Client or Service Provider in connection with a Service Contract.

7.1 The Jobbit AI Agent may record and analyse User inputs to provide responses, suggestions, and operational automation.

7.3 The AI Agent does not make autonomous decisions producing legal or significant effects on Users; all automated interactions remain subject to human oversight.
7.4 Users are encouraged to avoid submitting sensitive information (e.g., medical, racial, or political data) in chat messages unless strictly necessary.
8.1 Jobbit retains Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy or to comply with legal obligations.
8.2 Retention periods vary depending on data type, typically:

9.1 Jobbit may share limited Personal Data with:

9.3 Where data is transferred outside the UK, Jobbit ensures adequate safeguards through UK-approved Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
10.1 Jobbit employs industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption, access control, and continuous monitoring.
10.2 Despite these measures, no internet transmission is entirely secure; Users acknowledge that they provide data at their own risk.
10.3 In the event of a data breach likely to result in high risk to Users' rights, Jobbit shall notify affected Users and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in accordance with legal requirements.

13.3 Users may object to profiling activities by contacting business@jobbit.uk.
The Platform is not intended for use by persons under eighteen (18) years of age. Jobbit does not knowingly collect Personal Data from minors. If such data is inadvertently collected, it will be deleted promptly upon discovery.
15.1 Jobbit may amend this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or business operations.
15.2 Updated versions will be published at https://law.jobbit.uk and shall take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
